Background
Many toys and their packaging tend to be typecast to a gender; “building blocks are for boys and craft kits are for girls.” These social biases effect the development of children into adulthood. In fact, research shows that only 25% of STEM field jobs in the USA are held by women. In order to spark an interest of rockets/engineering amongst the 10+ female population while maintaining male interest, a gender neutral design is needed.
